Leadership Okmulgee is a community leadership development program designed to inform, motivate, and increase each participant's awareness through interaction with community decision makers during monthly seminars. Participants in this elite program develop and expand their professional and personal networks, and broaden their leadership skills while receiving a complete overview of our community.

Our goals for this program are to develop awareness of the area, its problems, challenges and opportunities by examining the major systems which contribute to pattern of life in our area. This program is intended to motivate and encourage participants to assume community leadership roles.

Sessions are held the second Thursday of each month beginning September 13. There is no class session in December. Classes start at 12 p.m. and usually conclude between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. A meal is provided at each session. Participants will be expected to commit to attending each session, and are required to attend five of the seven sessions to graduate. Classes are held at OSUIT - Student Union unless otherwise noted.
